The Community

Over 7 acres of private green space, panoramic views, and the convenience of Reynolds Village — all on one iconic mountain.

Over 7 Acres of Private Green Space

While most townhome communities pack homes onto every available square foot, Reynolds Mountain Villas are nestled within over 7 acres of green space — including a fenced dog park with benches, a network of mulched trails connecting all three residential areas to the park and down to Reynolds Village, and an active reforestation program restoring the mountain's native canopy.

At 9.54 total acres with just 11% building coverage, this is room to breathe in a way that most luxury developments simply can't offer. A 6-minute walk puts you at the shops, restaurants, and YMCA at Reynolds Village.

The Beaverdam Creek Greenway

Step out your back door, onto the community trail network, and — as the county completes its greenway — follow Beaverdam Creek through a wooded, park-like corridor down to Riverside Park, the Woodfin Wave, and the French Broad River. The trail's terminus is one place: the base of Reynolds Mountain.

This is no longer a line on a map. Buncombe County began right-of-way acquisition on the $16.3 million Woodfin Greenway & Blueway in summer 2026, with construction bids to follow and completion targeted for 2029. Downstream, the Woodfin Wave and the Riverside Park expansion are already nearing completion — the project has kept moving forward, even after Hurricane Helene. And a feasibility study is now underway to extend the greenway network north to Weaverville.

  • Walk from your villa to the future Beaverdam Creek trailhead
  • Connects to Riverside Park, the Woodfin Wave, and the French Broad River corridor
  • Links toward Asheville's riverfront greenway network and the River Arts District
  • Right-of-way acquisition underway now — completion targeted for 2029
  • Weaverville connector study in progress

The Beaverdam Creek Greenway is a planned, funded, and in-progress Buncombe County project. Timelines and final routing are subject to county and NCDOT scheduling.

Elevation matters. Reynolds Mountain proved it.

When Hurricane Helene brought historic flooding to parts of Western North Carolina in September 2024, Reynolds Mountain Villas emerged without damage. No flooding, no significant runoff, no structural impact. At elevations of 2,200 to 2,900 feet — well above every affected flood zone — this community demonstrated what careful site planning and Buchanan Construction quality are designed to do.
